How the Career Services Roadmap Works

Our Career Services Roadmap is a structured, step-by-step guide that supports you from bootcamp through getting your first tech job. Think of it as your mission plan for breaking into the tech industry. Here’s how it works in two steps.

Step 1: Career Preparation Begins in Bootcamp

Your Career Services Roadmap starts on day one of your coding bootcamp. While you’re mastering full-stack software engineering or AI Cloud and DevOps engineering, you’ll also get targeted training to secure an entry-level tech job after graduation.

• Beyond Tech: Engage in career-readiness workshops on overcoming imposter syndrome, communicating professionally, and confidently navigating tech workplace expectations and the job hunt.
• Resume & LinkedIn Coaching: Work with career coaches and industry volunteers to craft a standout resume tailored to entry-level tech jobs and build a professional LinkedIn profile.
• Personal Branding & Storytelling: Learn how to translate your military experience into a compelling career narrative for job applications and interviews.
• Mock Interviews & Technical Prep: Practice behavioral and technical interviews to get comfortable with the tech hiring process.

Step 2: Job Search After Graduation

Graduating from coding bootcamp is just the beginning. The Career Services Roadmap continues as you launch your job search with dedicated one-on-one support from the Career Services team.
